Fig & Apple Porridge

Serves 2

3/4 cup rolled oats
2 cups Anchor Vital milk
1/2 cup canned apple pieces in natural juice, drained
8 whole dried figs. Remove the stalks and chop
2 tsp cinnamon sugar, for sprinkling

Combine the oats, Anchor Vital milk, apple and figs in a saucepan and slowly bring to the boil, stirring continuously. Allow to simmer for 10 minutes making sure it doesn’t stick to the bottom of the pan. Spoon into two serving bowls and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Serve with extra Anchor Vital milk and/or yoghurt if desired.
